Status: Uncommon

Interesting Facts: The Spiny Terrapin is a forest dwellers, which ecologically are "land turtles". The bizzare-looking terrapin has a circular shell edged with spines. But the spines are prominent only on juveniles. In adults, the spines are less conspicuous, except on the hind edges of the shell.

Size: 22cm

Diet: Omnivorous.

Activity: Nocturnal and amphibious

Habitat: Forested area.
