Five-banded Flying Lizard Draco quinquefasciatus

Status : Rare

Interesting Facts: The Five-banded Flying Draco can easily be mistaken for their look-alike cousins. It was first recorded in Singapore in 2001 but there was no material to support the sighting. It's existence was only verified when a NParks staff photographed it on 10 October 2003. Then after, it was spotted by some nature enthusiasts.

Size: 27cm

Diet: Ants and small insects.

Activity: Arboreal, moving up tree trunks.

Habitat: Forest habitats.

Threats: Habitat destruction.
