Did You Know?

Our native green-crested lizard has been effectively replaced by the changeable lizard. The changeable lizard was introduced in the 1980s into Singapore from Northern Malaysia or Thailand. This is a saddening example of how an introduced species can affect the fragile ecosystem and in some cases, causes extinction to the native delicated species.
