Interesting Facts: These macaques are common in our nature reserves. The population of the macaques are growing because they have no predator. In addition, they are fed with supplements by the general public. Because of their constantly contact with human, they have no fear for us. Instead of foliaging in the forest, they can be found at the forest edge close to human habitats. The macaques are opportunistic and are considered as nuisance as they sometimes raid houses.

Size: 93-109cm

Diet: Omnivorous including small invertebrates

Activity: Diurnal

Habitat: Lowland forest, secondary forest.
