Interesting Facts: The head is slightly distinct with eyes very close to the snout. Its shields are large.Inoffensive and timid. Commonly seen in mangroves after dusk.

Diet: Mainly fishes

Activity: Nocturnal

Habitat: Mangroves, brackish river mouth.
