Interesting Facts: The Banded File Snake is an aquatic snake. Its entire body is covered with uniform, granular scales which are rough to touch. This water snakes give birth to live young. It is non-venomous.

Size: 100cm

Diet: Mainly fishes and eels.

Activity: Nocturnal

Habitat: River mouths and mangrove swamps along the sea coast.
